Taste was super and flavorful, 5/10 on spice. Can’t beat the price but unfortunately my beef was 70% chewy fat. If you get beef like this I would send it back. I didn’t really bring it up. Would still return but not Michelin standards.
Start this morning with Khao Sou Maesai (Michelin Bib gourmand)Crowd place but fast and nice service.Khao Soy price is normal and quite cheap.Taste is yummy, but I had found some Khao Soy is better than this shop.Over all This was worth to try.

Tried both Pork and Chicken Khao Soy - both are really good.I suggest for first timer - go for the chicken version. Not too spicy and the gravy is too my liking after having tasted Khao Soy at various other places I would say Maesai is one of the best in Chiang Mai.Come early as there is usually a crowd during lunch hour for both take away and eat in.By the way the Thai Milk Coffee is great as well - strong black coffee with a smokey taste and not too sweet. Try it!

Absolutely delicious spot for the famous Khao Soy. This place is frequented by both locals and tourist, for a good reason! For the ones that don't know what a Khao Soy is, it is a Northern Thai curry dish that includes both regular and fried (crispy) noodles. We ordered the Chicken and Beef version, including some water and a Lemon Thai Tea. Both versions of the Khao Soy were delicious. The meat was tender and the broth has rich flavors. It has a bit of heat, but for us it was manageable. You get a plate of extras with it (lime, onions, pickled vegetables). If you want the chicken version, come early enough! Right after we ordered ours, it was sold out. The bowl of food was not big, but enough for us as a lunch. In total we only paid 130 baht for 2 people. A great place to taste a Khao Soy!

Very cheap and tasty noodles! Curry noodles very flavourful!Get a seat, write orders on paper from table, and place it at the counter, then wait for food to be served. We waited for about 20min for our food during lunch hour. After eating, ask for the bill at the table, and the staff will come tabulate what we ordered.
